The alpaca yarn is called the lord of the Peruvian Andes and is highly valued for its excellent characteristics:
it is soft to the touch, absorbs a little humidity from the surroundings, is thermally insulating, strong and elastic.
Alpaca products have a superb appearance, an aristocratic drape and a natural lustre that does not diminish with time.
The baby alpaca fibre is obtained from the first shearing of the alpaca (3 years old) in its lifetime, when it
has the softest hair and therefore the best quality (22,5 microns).
